He's Moving Out
3:42 AM Edit This 0 Comments »The youngest of the Crew has decided to go to school.YEA!!! So, he packed his bags and headed out. He didn't get far though, which is good for me. He moved to Daytona Beach with his sister. He will start at Daytona college like the other two did. I am truly amazed at the changes I see in him. It is amazing how they can seemingly grow up over night. The house is quiet now. I know the kids thought I'd suffer from "Empty Nest Syndrome" but I think I am doing well. I do miss him though. He is the baby and was home schooled from first grade on. We spent more time together than most sons and mothers. It is exciting that Russ and I are alone together for the first time in our 25 year marriage. I wonder what kind of fun we can get into.................

I'm anxious to introduce you to the crew, my pride ,my joy, my heart. we have been blessed to be the parents of three of the most wonderful human beings on the planet. I watch and wonder in awe at each of these people.
The oldest is our daughter, she has just finished Chiropractic school and has, through her care turned my health around. (another story, another day) She and her love live here in Florida and have a practice together. They have two dogs, Grommet and Kyla. (we love all of the grandpets). The girls live at the beach and travel the world at every opportunity. They are an amazing couple and have taught me so many things.
Our oldest son is the REAL artist in the family. He graduated from "FullSail" here in Florida and now lives in San Francisco with his love. They not only live together but work together as well. Two amazing artist in one house. They have a new family member, Alice. Alice is a cat and you can find her in her window watching the city, most days. I wish I could tell you more about the work the two are doing but it is top secret and we are waiting for more details at a future date. (I'll Keep you posted)
Our youngest son is still at home and not yet sure what he wants to be doing in the world. He is brilliant and wonderfull, and will find that passion to do great things.
He plays pool with several different leagues and the 9-ball team he plays with just took first place in the 2008 Summer session and will be going to lasVegas to compete next summer.
well that's a quick intro to each of the kids. I will tell you more about each of them as I go. here are a few shots of them.

The Whole Motly Crew

You should start with us. The parents of "This Motley Crew" and our extended crew. He's fun loving and patient, and I'm...........well not so much, but after 25 years he has worked hard at softening me. I'm sure the crew won't agree, but they didn't and don't see every thing.
Thanks to him our family has had and still has allot of reasons and occasions to laugh. loving him is a joy.
He works so hard but always has time to be with his family and help any one who asks. He has always been so giving of his time. I nicked named him "The Rent a Husband." Our single family and friends don't have husbands or sons to help with their "Honey Do List" so, he has always and still is, there to to work on every ones list. OK I admit, that often means my list is left unfinished, but that is part of the reason why I love him so much.
He's smart but humble, gentle and strong, a real mans man and loving father. I think he is the perfect husband. We have our moments but I'm sure no one has a more wonderful husband than I do.
I'm wife, mother, teacher, chef, nurse, and artist. I'm sure there are many more titles I forget to list. Our crew has grown out of needing me to mother, teach, or nurse them, so much. Now I get to rediscover a new focus, who I am. My health has been off balance and difficult for the last 5 or so years, some times really bad and at other times just trying. I am moving forward though, I'm headed for round 3 and expect to win this bout.
I've always loved to create, since I can remember. My mother still has drawings I made as a 5 year old. I draw, paint, collage, stamp, and take photographs, always something new. My art like any other artist seems to ebb and flow. At the moment I am doing card design and teaching at a Rubber stamp store in Daytona Beach. I love being around these women, coming from an artistic bunch, it is like being with my sister, both comforting and inspiring.
